To make chocolate tart shell you will need:
Vegan butter
Flour
Almond flour
Icing sugar
Aquafaba
Cacao powder
To make vegan orange chocolate ganache you will need:
Chocolate chips
Vegan cream
Fresh orange peels
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE TART
Chocolate Tart shell:
- In the bowl mix together butter, icing sugar, whipped aquafaba, flour, cacao powder and almond flour.
- Combine everything to make a smooth dough.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, roll out the dough and line tart pan.
- Prick the base and let rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes (365F). Let cool.
Vegan Chocolate ganache:
- In a saucepan add vegan cream and orange peels. Let simmer (not boil) for 5 minutes. Set aside. Let cool completely.
- Put the chocolate and vegan butter in a heatproof bowl and rest it over a saucepan of gently simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does nit touch water.
- Heat, stirring, until the mixture melts.
- Pour the cream slowly into the chocolate mixture, whisking until you have a chocolate ribbon (soft consistency).
- Pour ganache into a chocolate tart.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
