EASY COBBLER INGREDIENTS
Fresh Cherry
Sugar
Orange Juice: juice of one orange
Water
For vegan cobbler batter:
Flour
Sugar

HOW TO MAKE CHERRY COBBLER
- Combine cherries, sugar and orange juice in skillet or saucepan with a tight fitting lid.
- Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Stirring frequently, cook for 5 minutes.
- Combine together vegan buttermilk, oil and vanilla extract.
- Whisk together, flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir.
- Carefully drop batter (using tablespoon) onto the simmering cherries.
- Cover the skillet (saucepan) and let it cook for 15-20 minutes (low heat).
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
VEGAN COBBLER TIPS
- You could substitute cherries for any type of berries
- Do not over mix batter
- Pour batter 1 tbsp at a time
- Sugar quantity may be adjusted to your own preference
