Fresh cherries: wash and dry them, remove the stems but do not pit them.

HOW TO MAKE CHERRY CLAFOUTIS
- Mix the baking powder and flour.
- Add sugar, buttermilk and a pinch of salt.
- Mix everything together (finished batter should be smoothed).
- Butter a baking pan (cake or pie pan).
- Stir the cherries into the batter. Pour it into a baking pan.
- Bake for 45minutes (365F) until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sugar.
