Streusel is and Alsetian term for crumble. Once ready you could keep baked streusel in the freezer for up to a month. Raw streusel can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

Vegan butter
Cane Sugar
Flour
Almond flour
Cinnamon
HOW TO MAKE VEGAN STREUSEL
- Preheat the oven 365F.
- Place all of the ingredients in the bowl of a mixer and mix until crumbly, about 2 minutes.
- Spread on the parchment-lined sheet pan and bake 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
VEGAN PLUM TART TIPS
- When you make tart fill the tart shell with as much fruit as you can squeeze in.
- Streusel needs to be fully baked before being used because using a raw crumble would prevent the crust from baking.
- You will need 2 days to make this recipe: day 1 to make and refrigerate the dough, and to prepare streusel; day 2 to make the tart.

- 4 tbsp vegan butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

- 2 pounds plums
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven 365F.
- Pre-bake tart shell (with pie weights) for 20 minutes.
- Wash the plums and dry them (air dry for 30 minutes).
- Sprinkle the baked streusel on the bottom of the pre-baked tart shell.
- Arrange plum quarters in the pastry shell all the way atound.
- Mix cinnamon with the cane sugar in a bowl and sprinkle hald of the mixture on the plums.
- Bake 365F for 35-45 minutes until crust is baked crisp.
- Remove from the oven and once cool, sprinkle on the remaining sugar mixture.
