Fig Tart is a combination of vegan pastry tart shells, fig compote and fresh tarts. It’s vegan and dairy-free.

VEGAN FIG TART INGREDIENTS
To make tartlet shells you will need:
Vegan butter
Flour
Almond flour
Icing sugar
Aquafaba
For fig compote you will need:
Brown sugar
Vegan cream
Fig jam
Aquafaba
HOW TO MAKE FIG TART
Vegan Pastry Tartlet Shells:
- In the bowl mix together butter, icing sugar, whipped aquafaba, flour and almond flour.
- Combine everything to make a smooth dough.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, roll out the dough and cut out with a cookies cutter.
- Line pastry rings. Prick the base and let rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Fig Compote:
- Blend all the ingredients. Cover and keep chilled.
- Preheat the oven 365F. Line each tartlet shell with parchment paper and ceramic baking beans.
- Pre-bake each shell for 10 minutes. Remove the beans.
- Cut the fresh figs. Arrange in the shells, add the fig compote.
- Bake 15-20 minutes.
