Sparkling water
Dark corn syrup
HOW TO MAKE CANDIED ORANGE PEEL
- Bring water to a boil.
- Peel oranges (remove the white pith and flesh) and cut.
- Add the orange peel to the boiling water, cook for 1 minute and drain.
- Repeat step 3 two times.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and sparkling water. Bring to boil.
- Add the orange peel and boil for 3 minutes. Stir in corn syrup.
- Pour the mixture into jar.
- Let cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
