- 3 oranges
- 2/3 cup sparkling water
- 2/3 cup cane sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup (dark)
Bring water to a boil. Peel oranges (remove the white pith and flesh) and cut.
Add the orange peel to the boiling water, cook for 1 minute and drain. Repeat step 3 two times.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and sparkling water. Bring to boil. Add the orange peel and boil for 3 minutes. Stir in corn syrup.
Pour the mixture into jar.
Let cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
