This Crumpets recipe is vegan, easy to make traditional British teatime treat. Crumpets is a small cakes made from cupboards ingredients.

VEGAN CRUMPETS INGREDIENTS

Plant-based milk: soy or almond

Flour

Dry yeast

Baking powder: recipe for homemade baking powder could be found here.

Water

Sugar

Salt

HOW TO MAKE EASY CRUMPETS

  1. Add the yeast and sugar to a warm milk.
  2. In a separate bowl mix flour and salt.
  3. Add tested milk until you have a thick batter.
  4. Cover with a plastic. Leave for 1 hour.
  5. Add the baking powder to the warm water.
  6. Using hand mixer whisk batter with the water.
  7. Cover with a plastic and leave for 40 minutes.
  8. Place greased pan and rings on a medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes.
