These recipe for a soft homemade tortillas with vegan pulled pork and vegetables.
TORTILLAS INGREDIENTS:
Flour: all-purpose or type 00
Cassava flour
Baking powder
Cream of tartar
Grapeseed oil: any neutral oil of your choice
Fresh Water
Salt
Note: you can roll out tortillas with a rolling pin or use tortilla press.
VEGAN PULLED PORK INGREDIENTS:
Jackfruit: store bought in brine, without sugar
Hungarian Paprika
Vegetable bouillon (powder)
Soy sauce
Smoked salt

Homemade Tortillas with vegan pulled pork
Ingredients
Tortillas
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cassava flour
- 3 tbsp grapeseed oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 3-4 tbsp water
- 1 pinch salt
Vegan pulled pork
- 1 package jackfruit (or 1 can)
- 1 tbsp vegetable broth powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp hungarian paprika
- 1/4 bulb yellow sweet onion (chopped and sauted)
- 1-2 pinch smoked salt
Instructions
Tortillas
- In a large bowl mix all the ingredients. Let it rest for 15-30min.
- Divide it into 6-8 pieces. Roll it with a rolling pin or tortilla press.
- In a large skillet, cook tortillas over medium heat for 2-3 min on each side.
Vegan pulled pork
- Rinse and drain jackfruit. Use two forks to shred it ( to give it a "pulled pork" texture)
- Mix together the rest of the ingredients and jackfuit.
- Heat a skilled over a medium heat. Once hot, toss and cook for 10 min untill desired texture and color achieved.
