WHAT IS BUDDHA BOWL?
Many of us heard buddha bowl before. It is a bowl of a whole grains, tofu, vegetables and sauce. It is full of nutrition and easy to assemble (there no stitch rules for ingredients because anyone could adjust to their own preference).
BUDDHA BOWL INGREDIENTS:
Whole grains: black rice
Tofu: sweet and sour style of tofu (recipe could be found here)
Vegetables: lettuce, carrot and avocado
Sauce: okonomiyaki sauce (store bought or homemade) and tahini (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup black rice
- 1 avocado
- 1 carrot
- 1 block tofu
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp okonomiyaki sauce
- 1 orange (juice)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
- Marinade carrot for 30min (optional)
- To assemble your bowl, spoon black rice the bottom of your bowl. Place lettuce, tofu and avocado. Dizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and tahini.
