This Christmas vegan nut roast is easy to make and delicious, served hot or cold, main dinner dish.
CHRISTMAS VEGAN NUT ROAST INGREDIENTS:
French lentils: it will give a nice hearty texture.
Nuts: pecans and hazelnuts.
Mushrooms: mini portobello mushrooms, however you can switch it to a different kind.
Flour Slurry: (mix 3 tbsp of flour and 3 tbsp of water).
Vegetable broth (powder)
Sweet yellow onion
Vegan Nut Roast
- 1 cup french lentils
- 1/4 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup hazelnuts
- 1/4 cup dried cranberry
- 1/2 cup mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 bulb onion
- 1 tbsp vegetable boullion
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp water
- Blend with a high spped blender onion, mushroom, nuts, chestnut and garlic.
- Heat a sauce pan, then add blended mixture, cooked lentils, thyme and vegetable boulion.
- Preheat the oven 365F.
- Fill baking pan and bake for 20-30min 365F until golden brown.
