These Black Forest Chia Pudding is a vegan, dairy-free chocolate chia pudding with yogurt, coconut milk and cherry compote.

These Black Forest Chia Pudding is easy to make and absolutely delicious!

HOW TO MAKE CHIA PUDDING

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour coconut milk, add chia seeds, cacao powder and maple syrup (optional).
  2. Stir to combine. Cover and leave in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  3. Once ready to eat, put yogurt on the button, followed by layers of chocolate chia pudding and cherry compote.

HOW TO MAKE CHERRY COMPOTE:

To make cherry compote you will need: cherry (frozen or fresh), water, cane sugar, vanilla extract (optional) and cinnamon(optional).

  1. In a saucepan (or skillet) bring all the ingredients to boil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

CHIA PUDDING RATIO

If you use canned coconut milk (400ml) use 1/2 cup of chia seeds.

BLACK FOREST CHIA PUDDING TIPS

  • Use caned coconut milk for extra creaminess
  • Cacao powder quantity could be adjusted to your own preference and taste
  • You could use frozen cherries for these recipe
  • Use any type of your favorite vegan yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • 1 can coconut milk

  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup vegan yogurt

Cherry Compote

  • 1 bag frozen cherries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extarct
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
