Sugar: cane sugar.
Butter: canola oil or vegan butter.
Brown sugar: you can use brown sugar or coconut sugar. Coconut sugar will give you a little crunchier texture.

Ingredients
Cake
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Topping
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Cake
- Preheat the oven.
- In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl whisk oil, buttermilk and vanilla.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry.
Topping
- In a large bowl combine together flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add oil and toss utill it appears crumbly.
- Fill the pan with batter and sprinkle crumb topping.
- Bake 365F 25-30min.
