VEGAN CHESTNUT SOUP INGREDIENTS
Chestnuts: vacuum packed
Butter: vegan butter
Onion: yellow sweet onion
Celery
Vegetable broth
Vegan cooking cream
Spices
HOW TO MAKE CHESTNUT SOUP
- In a small mixing bowl, combine vegan cream, sugar, salt and spices. Refrigerate.
- In a large pot, add vegan butter, onion (chopped) and celery (chopped). Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add chestnuts and vegetable broth. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Puree the soup with immersion blender or food processor.
- Return the soup to the pot, add half of spiced cream mixture. Reheat the soup.
- Serve the soup with the rest of spiced cream mixture.

Soup
- 1 medium onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 tbsp vegan butter
- 7 oz chestnuts
- 4 cups vegetable broth
Spiced vegan cream
- 1/2 cup vegan cream
- 1/4 tsp cane sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp all spice (seasoning)
- 1/4 tsp ginger (seasoning)
Instructions
