BLACK RICE BREAD INGREDIENTS
Black rice or forbidden rice (these type of rice have many health benefits more info could be found here)
Black sesame seeds
Psyllium husk
Baking powder
Fresh water
VEGAN CAROOT LOX INGREDIENST
Carrot
Olive Oil
Rice Vinegar
Soy Sauce
Nori Sheets
Smoked Salt (or you could use liquid smoke)
VEGAN CREAM CHEESE INGREDIENTS
Cashew Nuts (or you could use macadamia nuts)
Probiotic
Italian seasoning (optional)
Nutritional Yeast
Fresh Water
PICKLED ONIONS INGREDIENTS

Salt
Cane Sugar

Ingredients
Black Rice Bread
- 1 1/2 cup black rice
- 1/2 cup black sesame
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp psyllium husks
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt
Vegan Smoked Carrot Lox
- 1 carrot
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 sheet nori sheet
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp smoked salt (or liquid smoke)
Vegan Cream Cheese
- 1 cup cashew
- 1 probiotic pill
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
Pickled Onions
- 1/4 bulb onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cane sugar
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 glove garlic
- 1/2 cup water
- black pepper
Instructions
Black Rice Bread
- Soak rice and sesame overnight.
- Preheat the oven 365F.
- Pour the soaked rice and sesame into a stainer and rinse well. Transfer rice and sesame to a food processor with the rest of the ingredients.
- Bake for 40-50min 365F.
Vegan Smoked Carrot Lox
- Boil carrot for 8-10 min (it should be soft but firm).
- Mix marinade ingredienst (except nori sheet).
- Use peeler to peel carrot into ribbons. Place the strips into marinade and nori sheets on the top. Transfer to refrigerator and marinate for 2-3 hrs or overnight.
Vegan Cream Cheese
- Soak cashews overnight.
- Drain cashews, add to a high speed blender and add a touch of water.
- Add probiotic and blend until you reach a smooth consistency.
- Scrape the mixture to a nut bag. Secure the string in the bag and place a press on it.
- Let culture in room temperature for 12 hrs or 24 hrs. When ready, remove the bag. Place in a bowl add italian spices and nutritional yeast. Place in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Pickled Onions
- Thinly slice the onions. Place the garlic and peppercons in a jar.
- Heat the vinegar, water and the rest of the ingredients. Boil with onions for 5 min.
- Place onions and mixture in a jar. Your pikcled onion would be ready overnight.
