VEGAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

These mousse recipe is vegan version of Mousse Au Chocolat (French chocolate mousse) easy and simple dairy-free dessert.

VEGAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE INGREDIENTS 

Aquafaba 

Chocolate (white or milk chocolate bar)

Cream of tartar 

Cane sugar 

HOW TO MAKE AQUAFABA CHOCOLATE MOUSSE 

  1. Melt the chocolate. Cool to room temperature. 
  2. In a mixing bowl combine aqufaba and cream of tartar. Mix with a electric hand mixer. Raise the speed to high and beat until the mixture form firm peaks. Add 1 tbsp cane sugar and beat for 3 minutes, then sprinkle remains 2 tbsp sugar and beat for 3 minutes.
  3. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the mixture. Gently fold using a rubber spatula. Transfer to jars and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Top it with chocolate jam (optional/ recipe could be found here).

  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar

  • 1 bar chocolate (80g)
  • 2 tbsp chocolate jam (topping/optional)
