These mousse recipe is vegan version of Mousse Au Chocolat (French chocolate mousse) easy and simple dairy-free dessert.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1/2 cup aquafaba
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 3 tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 bar chocolate (80g)
  • 2 tbsp chocolate jam (topping/optional)

Instructions
 

  • Melt the chocolate. Cool to room temperature. 
  • In a mixing bowl combine aqufaba and cream of tartar. Mix with a electric hand mixer. Raise the speed to high and beat until the mixture form firm peaks. Add 1 tbsp cane sugar and beat for 3 minutes, then sprinkle remains 2 tbsp sugar and beat for 3 minutes.

  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the mixture. Gently fold using a rubber spatula. Transfer to jars and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
