This Italian-inspired version of Pizza Tart gets its distinctive flavor from addition of basil and garlic.

VEGAN PIZZA TART INGREDIENTS 

Dough: 

Flour 

Olive Oil 

Grape seed oil 

Water

Filling: almond flour, water, nutritional yeast, grape seed oil, cornstarch, garlic, basil and salt 

HOW TO MAKE PIZZA TART 

Dough:

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl. 
  2. Pour olive oil and grape seed oil over the flour.
  3. Mix well. 
  4. Add water and salt. 
  5. Knead until you have a smooth dough.
  6. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours. 

Filling: 

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender. 
  2. Pour the mixture into a clean pan, Stir in frequently over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat when the mixture becomes shiny and thick.
  3. Roll out the dough. Cut out round with a cookie cutter. Pour the filling mixture on the top. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  4. Bake 365F for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
