Oranges

Sugar: cane sugar 

Sparkling water 

Dark corn syrup 

HOW TO MAKE CANDIED ORANGE PEEL 

  1. Bring water to a boil. 
  2. Peel oranges (remove the white pith and flesh) and cut.
  3. Add the orange peel to the boiling water, cook for 1 minute and drain. 
  4. Repeat step 3 two times. 
  5. In a saucepan, combine sugar and sparkling water. Bring to boil. 
  6. Add the orange peel and boil for 3 minutes. Stir in corn syrup. 
  7. Pour the mixture into jar. 
  8. Let cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
