EASY COBBLER INGREDIENTS

Fresh Cherry

Sugar

Orange Juice: juice of one orange

Water

For vegan cobbler batter:

Flour

HOW TO MAKE CHERRY COBBLER

  1. Combine cherries, sugar and orange juice in skillet or saucepan with a tight fitting lid.
  2. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Stirring frequently, cook for 5 minutes.

  1. Combine together vegan buttermilk, oil and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk together, flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir.
  4. Carefully drop batter (using tablespoon) onto the simmering cherries.

  1. Cover the skillet (saucepan) and let it cook for 15-20 minutes (low heat).

  1. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

  • 2 cups cherries
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 orange (juice of one orange)
  • 1/2 cup water

Batter

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 2 tsp bakign powder
  • 1/2 tsp bakign soda
  • 1/2 cup vegan buttermilk
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
