VEGAN TOMATO BISQUE INGREDIENTS 

Crushed tomatoes (canned)

Vegetable broth

Onion

Garlic

Basil 

Rice 

Coconut milk (canned)

HOW TO MAKE TOMATO BISQUE 

  1. In a saucepan, add olive oil, onion and garlic and sauce until softened. 
  2. Add the broth and rice, and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook until rice is soft.
  4. Add the tomatoes and basil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.  Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. 
  5. Puree in the blender until smooth. Whisk in coconut milk, salt and pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 3 tbsp rice
  • 1 tbsp basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 bulb onion
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, add olive oil, onion and garlic and sauce until softened.
