VEGAN PECAN PIE INGREDIENTS 

Pie Dough:

Flour: all-purpose flour 

Cane sugar 

Vegan butter 

Pie Filling:

Vegan egg 

Maple syrup 

Brown sugar 

Pecans 

Cornstarch 

Vegan butter 

HOW TO MAKE PECAN PIE 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cane sugar and salt.
  2. Add (cold) vegan butter and mix using dough blender.
  3. Add (cold) water and knead the dough.
  4. Shape the dough, wrap in plastic and leave overnight in the refrigerator.
  5. Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll out the dough.
  6. Transfer the dough to a pie pan.
  7. In a mixing bowl, add vegan egg, maple syrup, brown sugar, vegan butter, cornstarch and salt.
  8. Scatter the pecans evenly in the pie shell. Pour the mixture over the pecans.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes (365F) until filling is evenly set.

  • 1 1/4 cups flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3 vegan eggs
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
