VEGAN PEARS IN PASTRY INGREDIENTS 

Dough:

Flour: all-purpose flour

Butter: vegan butter 

Sugar: cane sugar 

Vegan egg 

Plant milk 

Salt 

Pears 

Filling: vegan butter, lemon zest and cinnamon 

HOW TO MAKE PEARS IN PASTRY 

Dough:

  1. Add the flour, butter, sugar and salt to a mixing bowl.
  2. Rub ingredients between hands. Add vegan egg, plant milk and knead the dough.
  3. Wrap in plastic and chill for 3 hours.

Pears:

  1. Cream vegan butter with lemon zest and cane sugar.
  2. Pell the pears and core carefully.
  3. Fill the hollows with butter-sugar mixture.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes (365F). Let cool completely.

Pear in pastry:

  1. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough. Cut the dough into strips. 
  2. Roll the dough strips around each pear. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. 
  3. Brush vegan egg wash. 
  4. Bake 20-30 minutes (365F0 until the pastry case golden brown.
