Ingredients
 
 

Dough

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 vegan egg
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp plant milk
  • 1 pinch salt

Pears

  • 3 pear
  • 3 tbsp vegan butter
  • 1/2 lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

Dough

  • Add the flour, butter, sugar and salt to a mixing bowl.Rub ingredients between hands. Add vegan egg, plant milk and knead the dough.Wrap in plastic and chill for 3 hours.

Pears

  • Cream vegan butter with lemon zest and cane sugar.Pell the pears and core carefully.Fill the hollows with butter-sugar mixture.Bake for 15 minutes (365F). Let cool completely.

Pear in pastry

  • On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough. Cut the dough into strips. Roll the dough strips around each pear. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Brush vegan egg wash. Bake 20-30 minutes (365F0 until the pastry case golden brown.
