VEGAN BROWNIES

This Vegan Brownies recipe would give you a fudgy brownie that is extremely moist with a crackly top. Old-fashioned American classic desert made with combination of cocoa powder and chocolate chips paired with pecans.

VEGAN BROWNIES INGREDIENTS 

Flour: all-purpose flour 

Vegan butter 

Plant milk: almond or soy milk 

Cacao powder: dutch-process powder 

Chocolate chips 

Baking powder: homemade baking powder recipe could be found in this post

Pecans: raw pecans 

BROWNIES COCOA POWDER 

Make sure to use Dutch-process cacao powder for this recipe.

VEGAN BROWNIES EGG SUBSTITUTE

Many vegan brownie recipes are using vegan egg (applause, flax-egg or aquafaba), however for this recipe you could use the right proportion of baking powder which would give you a nice tasty result. 

HOW TO MAKE EASY BROWNIES 

  1. Preheat the oven 365F.
  2. In a microwave heat vegan butter, chocolate chips util completely melted. 
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cacao powder, sugar and salt. Combine using a hand mixer. 
  4. Add chocolate-butter mixture and mix. Add plant milk and vanilla extract. 
  5. Mix until smooth batter reached. Do not over mix. 
  6. Spread the batter into prepared pan (lined with parchment paper) and top with pecans. 
  7. Bake 30-45 minutes (the center should be slightly wet and not fully set).
  8. Let the brownie cool completely before slicing.
