VEGAN BERRY GALETTE INGREDIENTS 

GALETTE DOUGH INGREDIENTS 

Flour 

Vegan butter 

Water: ice water 

Cane sugar 

Salt

Strawberry

Blueberry 

Blackberry 

Raspberry 

HOW TO MAKE VEGAN GALETTE DOUGH 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, salt, sugar. 
  2. Add cutter into pieces butter. Knead the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the water over the flour mixture, then knead the dough for 5 minutes until mixture comes together. 
  4. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes. 

HOW TO MAKE BERRY FRUIT GALETTE 

  1. Cut out berries into pieces. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Mix together. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
  2. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out the dough 3-4 mm thick. 
  3. Spread berry mixture into a circle in the center of the dough leaving border of dough uncovered along the edge. 
  4. Fold the edge of the dough up and over the berries, leaving the galette uncovered in the center. 
  5. Refrigerate the galette for 30 minutes. 
  6. Preheat the oven 365F. 
  7. Sprinkle sugar on the edge of the galette. 
  8. Bake 365F 35-40 minutes, until crust is brown.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 6 tbsp vegan butter
  • 5 tbsp ice water
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Filling

  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup strawberry
  • 1/4 cup raspberry
  • 1/4 cup blackberry
