EASY VEGAN CANNOLI RECIPE

VEGAN CANNOLI SHELLS INGREDIENTS 

Flour: all-purpose flour 

Cane sugar 

Cacao powder 

Apple vinegar 

Vegan butter

Orange liqueur Cointreau (optional)

Warm water 

VEGAN CANNOLI FILLING 

Vegan pudding 

Vegan butter 

Powdered sugar 

HOW TO MAKE VEGAN CANNOLI 

  1. Mix all the dough ingredients together to obtain a smooth dough. 
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour 30 minutes. 
  3. Preheat the oven.
  4. Separate the dough into 10 small balls. Roll out into oval shape. 
  5. Wrap each oval around a cannoli cylinder. 
  6. Brush each cannoli with a grape seed oil. 
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes (365F). Once cooled, gently pull out the cylinders from the shells.
  8. To make cannoli filling: mix all the ingredients together with a hand mixer to obtain a smooth cream.
  9. Fill the cannoli just before serving. 
  10. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
