In a bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat together vegan butter and cane sugar (using a hand mixer) until fluffy. Add vegan egg and vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture and beat on low for 3-5 minutes until combined.
Place confectioner's sugar in a small bowl.
Scoop up a tablespoon of the dough, roll between your palms into a ball. Roll in confectioner's sugar and place on prepared baking sheet (flatten each ball with the palm of your hand).
