These Caramel Candies are vegan version of Classic recipe.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 can coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 2 cups cane sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 pinch sea salt

Instructions
 

  •  Melt chocolate chips over a bain marie. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan add vegan butter, cane sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat. 
  • Add coconut cream and melted chocolate. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat. Add sea salt. 
  • Pour caramel in prepared cookies sheet (lined with plastic wrap). Let the caramel cool completely (around 2 hours) before slicing.
