- 1 can coconut cream
- 1/2 cup vegan butter
- 2 cups cane sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 pinch sea salt
Melt chocolate chips over a bain marie. Set aside.
In a saucepan add vegan butter, cane sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat.
Add coconut cream and melted chocolate. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat. Add sea salt.
Pour caramel in prepared cookies sheet (lined with plastic wrap). Let the caramel cool completely (around 2 hours) before slicing.
