When you bake these vegan Marble Madeleines, your kitchen will fill with the heady aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Once cooled, they are deliciously soft and buttery.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  •  Sift the flour, baking powder, cane sugar and salt.
  • In a separate bowl combine milk, butter (melted) and vanilla extract.
  • Add wet ingredients to the flour mixture. Mix together. Do not over mix.
  • Separate batter into 2 bowls. Add cacao powder to one of the bowls. 
  • Preheat the oven. Bake 15-20 min (365F).
