Vegan version of classic French recipe with a chocolate and chai twist.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 70 g butter (vegan or canola oil)
  • 80 g flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 70 g cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk store bought or homemade
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp chai spices

White chocolate glaze

  • 100 g white chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven
  • Sift flour, baking powder and sugar
  • Add chai spices
  • In separate bowl, combine butter and buttermilk
  • Fold butter and flour mixtures
  • Add cacao to 2 tbsp of the mixture
  • Divide mixture among the moulds (top it with cacao mixture and draw swirls)
  • Bake for 10-15min 365F
  • Cool on a wire rack
  • Glaze with white chocolate
