Vegan version of classic French recipe with a chocolate and chai twist.

- 70 g butter (vegan or canola oil)
- 80 g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 70 g cane sugar
- 1/4 cup buttermilk store bought or homemade
- 1 tsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp chai spices
Preheat the oven
Sift flour, baking powder and sugar
Add chai spices
In separate bowl, combine butter and buttermilk
Fold butter and flour mixtures
Add cacao to 2 tbsp of the mixture
Divide mixture among the moulds (top it with cacao mixture and draw swirls)
Bake for 10-15min 365F
Cool on a wire rack
Glaze with white chocolate
