Soft and rich, Vegan pretzels is a great dessert for any occasion. Top it with orange jam syrup for extra deliciousness.

- 2 2/3 cup flour
- 1 envelope instant dry yeast (7g envelope)
- 3 tbsp warm water
- 2 vegan eggs
- 1/3 cup cane sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 stick vegan butter
- 3 oz candied orange peel (finely diced)
Add warms water to instant dry yeast. Cover it with the remaining flour. Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Add cane sugar, vanilla, salt and vegan egg. Beat with a spatula until the dough peels away from sides of the bowl.
Add vegan butter and knead by hand. Stir in orange peel and knead until combined. Shape into a ball and chill for 3 hours.
Divide the dough into four pieces.Flatten the dough slightly. Fold one third over itself. Shape into a log.Roll and stretch into a rope.
Bend the rope to make a horseshoe shape.Cross one end over the other. Cross the ends again and fold back onto the bottom of the horseshoe.
Transfer the pretzels to a baking sheet (covered with parchment paper), cover with a plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Bake for 30 minutes (365F).
Once ready, brush the pretzels with the syrup (warm orange jam).
