Vegan mince pies and mincemeat recipe

Ingredients
 
 

Dough

  • 180 g flour
  • 90 g butter vegan
  • 2 tsp cane sugar
  • 3-5 tbsp cold fresh water
  • 1 pinch salt

Mincemeat

  • 3 mandarin zest and juice
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup cranberry (dry)
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 2 apples (grated)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions
 

Dough

  • Combine all the ingredeints together. Chill the dough 1-2hrs.

Mincemeat

  • Combine all the ingredients. Let it chill in the fridge for 30min.

Notes

Tips:
  1. Juice quantity for mincemeat can be adjusted according to your own preference. 
  2. For mincemeat golden raisins could be swiped for brown.
