Easy Vegan Fried Recipe

This delicious version of simple vegan fried rice leaves out chicken and eggs and replaces it with peas, corn and sauce.

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup frozen corn
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup dice shallots
  • 1 tsp grape seed oil


  • 2 tbsp tamari sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cane sagar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pepper


  • To make the sauce: in a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients and reserve. 
  • Heat a skillet (with grape seed oil), add ginger and garlic and stir briefly. 
  • Add the shallots, lower the heat to medium and cook for 2 minutes. 
  • Add the peas and corn, raise the heat to high, and stir and cook for 3 minutes. 
  • Add the rice, stir to mix and cook for 3 minutes. Stir the sauce, and drizzle over the rice.
  • Stir constantly for 3-5 minutes, until the rice is evenly coated with sauce. Turn off the heat, transfer to a dish, and serve.
